Match Hen Party Games to Activities
Planning a Hen Party is fun and challenging in equal measure. How do you keep everybody happy? The truth is, you can’t. But you shouldn’t be focusing on keeping all of the guests happy, just the one special lady who is there to celebrate her last days of freedom. When organising the hen do and considering each and every detail of the activities, ask yourself over and over again what the bride-to-be would want. If this is your objective and you get all of the other girls on board, you can’t go wrong.
This not only goes for the hen party activities but also the games you’ll play. It’s best to tailor the hen night games to whatever the activity or theme of the event is. As an example, below, I’ve outlined some options for games to play at a Spa and then you’ll find links to suggestions for other activity/game combinations that I’ve written about in previous posts.
If you have opted for a classy chilled-out day of pampering in a luxurious spa because your hen wouldn’t appreciate the thump thump of a night club, you may think that games won’t be necessary. To an extent, that’s true. It would be inappropriate to start playing raucous truth or dare games in the subdued atmosphere of a spa. But there’s no need to sacrifice them altogether; how about opting for some laid back classy hen party games.
Whilst you’re all chilling in the Jacuzzi or the sauna, in between a massage or a facial, why not tell stories of your fondest memories of the bride? Or relay stories of the first time you ever met her? To make this even more fun, you can swap stories with another guest before hand and tell each other’s. The bride-to-be must then guess whose story each guest is actually telling.
Another game to play in the spa is to come up with three stories about the bride, only one of which is true. The other guests must try and identify which one actually happened.
Dinner and Drinks
Again, a fancy restaurant may not seem the perfect setting for outrageous hen night games, but it doesn’t mean you can’t play any at all. Check out this article I wrote which has a different game for each course of the meal.
At a Bar or a Club
Now we can start to get a little more daring with our games and challenges. Click here for 3 great suggestions for games to play at a hen do that is being held in a noisy night club or even at the local bar.
